My eclipse has a (-)unlock and a (-)lock already tapped into from my last alarm. HOWEVER, my Viper installation guide wants :

vehicle(+) lock trigger circuit.

vehicle(-) unlock trigger circuit.

I've never read about any positive lock, its always (-), wtf do I do there?

Thanks

I've read that I'm this Negative Type B. I'm assuming so since my last alarm had (-) for lock/unlock anyways.

Thanks for the help

Each Viper lock and unlock wire does 2 things...either it's the (+) lock wire or the (-) unlock wire, depending on what u want it to do...Take the viper's wire that is (-)lock/(+)unlock and tap that into ur Eclipse's (-Lock) wire...Take the viper's wire that is (-)unlock(+)lock and tap it into ur Eclipse's (-) Unlock wire...That's it.

hook H2 E and H to ground
and then hook H2G to the unlock wire in the car.
H2D to the lock wire.

Purple to ground, white and brown to nothing. Blue will be -unlock ouput and green will be -lock output. I am not including stripes on the wire colors. The positive lock trigger in the manual is a typo.
