hi to all

need to bypass factory alarm to start car (fuel pump not working and engine check light on)

i have been told to do this: get relay connect wire from 30a to fuel pump live wire,connect wire from 86 to chassis groun(earth),and connect from87 to ignition live wire(+12v)

does this sound ok somebody mentioned something about fuseing each of the wires

please help my car has been sat there for 8 weeks now and i am p*$$# off

if 86 is ground, then 85 needs to be 12v.

do you mean 87a??

when the relay is at rest pins 30 and 87a are connected.

when you add power and ground to the relay, pins 87 and 30 connect.

the one in the middle is not energized....the one on the right is energized

yeh thanks alot mate,

just one more thing about the fuses, will i need to fuse each wire just to be on the safe side or does the relay do the job

put a fuse on the 12v wire.........i would try a 10 amp at first, then up from there....just dont go to high
