With alarms with built in shock sensors. Were is the best place to mount? Were not to mount?

Mount as close as possible to the middle of the vehicle...I usually go to the right of the cloumn somewhere up under the dash...Zip tie it up there nice and tight to a sturdy wire loom or something that is strong and will catch all the vibrations of the vehicle with a zip tie..Try to leave the "knob" or screwdriver dial available to urself to turn to set the shock sensor sensitivity.

DEI use to do that on the older alarms. Well a lof of companies did. I would just make sure that it was very secure so that it picked up all the vibrations of the car.

there is a model called viper 350 hv has built in shock sensor and the best place to where dei says to put it and have personally myself is tiewrap it to the biggest wire haness found under your dash
