im kinda a big guy and feel preety safe about installing my remote start. i was wondering if removing the drivers seat is overkill to get to the wirers  under the dash. any advice on the way you guys doit.

No need to do that...Most of the wires you'll need for remote start are at the ignition switch harness (the wires come off the key down the shaft of the column)...

Other wires u may need will be at the brake switch and door trigger door locks and such...those are usually in the driver's kick panel...

i removed my seat out of my 98 eclipse spyder....made it alot easier for me..just do whats easiest for you and to help your install go smoothly

Trust me you dont need to remove the seat unless you are doing a alarm RS on a 98 miata or fiat. I have no problem with doing installs and im 6'2" and 385 lbs. If i can get under a dash just about anyone can

Ya, Im 6'3" and about 290 and I dont recall ever having to remove the seat out of any vehicle for an alarm or remote start and I have worked on miata's and Triumphs. Those british bastard piss me off sometimes.
