Hello,

I am in need of the wiring diagram to install my k-9 code alarm in a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport. Also is there any thing I need for the alarm to activate the door locks & flashing lights. I have a keyless entry remote that came with the Jeep. Any help would be much needed & greatly appriciated.

Your gonna need some relays and diodes for this install.

12volts      red & pink/black       +       ignition harness
Starter      yellow       +       ignition harness
Ignition      RED / blue       +       ignition harness
Power Lock      pink/purple       -       back of fusebox
Notes: Lock is negative trigger thru a 1.4K ohm resistor and unlock is negative trigger thru a 426 ohm resistor. MUST use relays.
In the top left corner in a black plug.
Power Unlock      same wire as power lock

Parking Lights+      DO NOT USE
Parking Lights-      lt. GREEN/ orange       -       headlight switch
Notes: Parking lights is negative trigger thru a 910 ohm resistor. MUST use a relay.

Door Trigger             -       right of st column, blue plug
Notes: The driver door trigger is tan and the passenger door trigger is tan/white, use both wires and diode isolate each.
Dome Supervision      use door trigger
Trunk/Hatch Pin      tan/black       -       conn. 1, pin 7 @ BCM
Notes: The flip up glass pin switch is yellow/white in conn. 1, pin 9 of the BCM.
The BCM (Body Control Module) is attached to the left of the fusebox. Connector 1 is a gray 26 pin plug, and connector 2 is a gray 22 pin plug.
Hood Pin      BROWN / tan       -       conn. 1, pin 6 @ BCM

Trunk/Hatch Release      ORANGE / pink       -       conn. 1, pin 17 @ BCM

Factory Alarm Disarm      lt. GREEN/ orange       -       conn. 2, pin 9 @ BCM
Notes: The factory alarm disarm is negative trigger thru a 473 ohm resistor. MUST use a relay.

Horn Trigger      BLACK/ red       -       steering column

JWorm, thanks for the info. What watt resistors do I need. Also is there any specific relays that I need, or are they just general relays. You also said I would need diodes.Where do they come into play,or was that just a typo.

diodes are for door triggers

SPST or SPDT relays

I usually use 1/4 watt resistors
