do i need to do anything extra to install more than one L.E.D to an alarm.

Typically, if you try to put another LED in parallel with the existing one that came with the alarm, both will no longer light up or only the one with the least internal resistance will light up.  I haven't done this in a long time, but I have replaced the factory LED with an "optocoupler", then I made a LED driver circuit to drive more than one LED.

what is that and where can i get it from, or can you tell me how to build that circuit
