Hey, its me with another question. Many alarm systems offer auxillary outputs that allow you to control things like power windows and/or a sunroof, or your trunk. But, on my 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe, I don't think the trunk release is electronic. If it isn't, and I don't think it is, would it be possible to install a power trunk release? If so, I think I could use the remote to the security system I still need to buy (see my last post) to operate the trunk... Anyway, any help is appreciated.

Ok, scratch this one, everyone...I did some reading and found out I just need an actuator.. Ha. Thanks anyways, everyone...now I just need to know about the system I need for my civic...read my other post! Thanks.

If you have to pull a lever to open the trunk sure it's not an electric release. You will need to add a kit for the power trunk release and possibly a relay to operate it with the alarm output. https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=14934&item=5704731908&rd=1
