I need to get some diodes for the door locks on a 2000 Malibu and I'm ordering through parts express. It looks like I need to be looking for N4001/L diodes. However, parts express has discontinued those, but have these: 1N4007 1A 1000V DIODE. Would there be any problem using those instead and what does the "/L" stand for in N4001/L?

A strip of what?

Anyways, I tend to avoid radioshack since they jack their prices way up.

Radio Shack sells diodes, but they come on strips. you get like five on a strip.
