Subject: AT problems after Remote Start

I have installed a PRO-5007 COMBO (https://7925.adahost.com/computer/index.html?loadfile=item14035.html) in my 95 chevy suburban 1500 6,5TD. I also connected the starterkill. My only problems with the inst. was the door trigger and lock/unlock. The car starts very nice! After a couple of days the car wont shift more than to the 2nd gear! I called the workshop and they told me to disconnect the - poles from the batts. a few minutes, then all back to normal. After a day or two it happens again. If i dont use the remote start, the problem is not there! Have anyone experienced this??? My guess is that there is only one accessory cable used from the alarm module (heater/ac) while the car has several. I still have the brown accessory cable and want to give power to something that has to do with the AT during remote start, but i'm not sure. Also the workshop could not get connected with the car to read out alarms etc. Could i have f***ed something up?? They used to read out before.. Also the ABS system comes with a warning, the brakes feels like i'm on ice before the lamp comes on. I did have a short circuit during installation, but fuses are made to be blown right? Please help someone..

first of all, most shop will give you at least 30 days warranty for anything goes wrong. therefor, you shouldnt mess w/ it to void your warranty.

***take it back to your installer and let him worry about it.

why? what if you tamper w/ it and things goes wrong and then the isntaller will blame it on you. at the end, the only person you can sue is yourself.....

Yup, second and third ignition. This is common if you don't hook these wires up.
