I bought A Kicx alarm off of eBay and has yet been able to get it to function correctly. Anyone ever installed one of these before? My main problems are the starter interupt and the door trigger. The door trigger only sounds the alarm when the door is closed. As long as the door is opened and the light is on it stays armed but once you close the door and the light goes off the alarm sounds. The instructions say that I should tie into the (-) door trigger from the main control unit. The wire is supposedly BLACK/ lt. blue. I have tied into it but it will not work unless the door is open. Anyone out htere can help me with this. As far as the starter interupt goes any help will do. I have done all that I know and it just will not work. HELP!!!!!!

not negative. if you dont have a pos trigger, then check on this site in the relay section on how to reverse polarity.

Using the above diagram, can you please tell me what wire goes to which post on the relay for a 94 Explorer. I have 86 going to the yellow 12V+ at the steering column, 85 going to the (-) alarm output, 87a to the RED / lt blue wire closest to the switch, and 30 to the RED / lt blue wire leading away from the switch. This configuration however doesn't prevent the car from being started when the alarm is armed. Therefore something is obviously wrong.

you cut the starter wire in two and connect them each end to 30 and 87a.

Yeah, I did that as you can see from my previous post and it isn't working so therefore it must be wrong, I need to know the correct positioning of the wires and if I even have the correct colored wire for my year/make/model vehicle. Maybe I guess i just inhaled a larger dose of that Hydrogen and stupidity than most others.
