I'm wondering if anyone els has had a problem with installing a remote start in one of these where once the car is r.s., the instrument cluster shows a "lamp defective" error. It's a lower level Avital(can't remember the model # at the moment). No errors come up when the car is started with the key. It only comes up when remote started and everything else works fine. It's been like this for a long time but I wanted to get some other input on it.

check your wires with this info........

Ignition 12 volts PINK/GREEN IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS *

Ignition #2 PINK/GREEN IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition #3 N/A
Accessory PINK/BLUE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

I'll check but if I remember correctly, I believe I caught those wires by pulling out the fusebox under the hood. Like I said, it's been awhile since I installed it, but I'll take a look.

i would try to find them at the ign. switch....thats where i get most of my wires...
