I am installing an alarm with a hood pin trigger, an unltrasound sensor, and a microwave sensor. The alarm only has one 12V (-) instant trigger input wire. The instructions don't mention diodes but I read elsewhere on this site that it's best isolate each (-) trigger wire with a blocking diode.

What should I ask for when I go to the radio/alarm shop? I suppose there are different kinds of diodes and that they have different Amps/Voltage specifications.

Thanks for the help,
EZ

Just ask for diodes, they come in different amps, but any will suffice.  You can get them at Radio Shack.
