I have a factory alarm on my 98 toyota 4runner and the keyless entry/alarm remote has two buttons on it, no writing just a top and bottom button. The top one will unlock and lock , if you hold down the button then the alarm will go off. My question is if the first one does all that , what does the second one do???? I have tried it and nothing happens, no movement, clicks or anything, does anyone know why they have this button and what it could be used for.

Thanks

most likely for a power trunk pop, if your truck had that factory.
