i have a crimestopper alarm installed in my 92 integra. my problem is recently my power and ground wire burnt up, and blew one of the engine bay fuses. so after replacement of the fuse we put new leads to the burnt lines and when i went to put the fuse in the engine bay in the new leads smoked up again. what could be the problem?

something is drawing a ton of current, check all the wires for shorts, if all look good disconnect all but main power and see if it's the main module or something else drawing (like door locks or lights)

it sounds like you have a short. check all wires for breaks in the coating. Make sure you are not crossing any wires with different polarity. Make sure all connections are nice and tight

I'd take bets that your ground and power have grounded out to each other completing a dead short through the two wires eery time you connect the fuse.  It possible that it has happened in the alarm brain.
