i have a 97 civic hatchback and i need help figuring out where to put the hacth pin anyone can post pics that would be great thanks

Why are you adding a hatchpin? If you are installing an alarm, you can just use the wire that goes to the factory hatch pin. You do have a trunk light that goes on when you open the hatch, correct?

Its a blue/black wire in the drivers kick panel in the harness going to the rear. You can also find the wire at the factory alarm plug. Its a green plug located behind the radio.
