Subject: Quick question on ignition harnesses

I'm trying to figure out what an ignition harness is exactly.  I have a 2000 Malibu and it says mine is behind  my radio.  However, there is no such harness behind my radio that I can see.  The only thing I can think of is the harness that plugs into the tumbler.   However, it is only visible when the center console is removed.  If I wanted to access the harness that plugs into my tumbler, I'd have to take out my instrument cluster.

Is the ignition harness actually a harness?  There is a bundle of wires that the tumbler harness feeds into (I think there may be an airbag wire in there too).  Is that where I should be looking for ignition wires, etc?

Man you need to reformat those before posting. But more to the point, yes the ignition harness is an actual harness. On your car you ign switch is just to the left of the radio, and the only way to get to it is to remove the radio. It technically isn't behind the radio, it is just to the left of the radio. It plugs directly into the key cylinder or tumbler as you call it.
