You need to cut the WHITE/ pink wire in your ignition switch harness. Connect one cut side to terminal #30 on a relay and the other cut side to terminal #87a. Connect terminal #85 to a good ground and terminal #86 to a hidden kill switch. Connect the other side of the switch to the RED / light green wire in the ignition harness. Place a 5 amp fuse inline on this last wire within a few inches of the RED / light green wire for safety. Hide the switch well and use it to immobolize the car.

can't you also just simply cut the ignition wire and put in a two way switch?

most single throw toggle switches aren't rated for that amount of current....dont be cheap, spend 4 bucks and buy a relay and socket

One suggestion. Do a fuel pump kill. The starter relay is easy to access on your vehicle and will only take 10 seconds and a screw driver to get past.

el pump kill is also just as easy to bypass. Put the starter kill relay under the hood on a Ford and it will be hard to find.

I think you missed my point. With a starter kill mounted anywhere between the key switch and the starter relay / solenoid, there is no need to find the starter kill relay. Jumping the terminals on the starter relay will start the motor.

The only way to bypass a well hidden fuel pump kill is to run power directly to the fuel pump at the tank (or some point between the pump and the kill. It is NOT as easy as bypassing a starter kill.

thx for your help guys, but I changed my mind on the switch...originally it was going to be a starter kill, but with a 6 inch wire or flat bar you can jump the starter anyways, so I ran a kill switch the the fuel injectors. No way to jump them without the switch...and noone will find it.
