Car:2001 s10 truck

Alarm: clifford solaris

i hooked up the remote start but the engine won't crank.  everything goes on, fuel pump, guages etc.  i think its because i didn't hook up the 2nd and 3rd ignition wires am i correct?  I wasn't sure how or where i need to hook them up.  do they splice into the 1st ignition wire or wired up separate to another wire?

the must be isolated with relays...did you hook up a Passlock bypass module?

The way it sounds it has nothing to do with the passlock. If that were the case the truck would crank but not start. This is the definante issue on the 2nd and 3rd ignition wires. Connect them right in line with the wires.

take the ORANGE / gray wire coming out of the intellistart and attach that to pink/white or white of your ignition2 wire.

take the orange wire coming out of the intellistart and attach that to orange wire of your accesory wire

I believe your car doesnt have 3rd ignition.  So no needs for relay.

I had this same problem once: It turns out that I had the starter wire from the RS hooked up to the wrong side of the anti-gring (starter kill) relay. posted_image

Here is one that most over look. Make sure the Hood is not open when you are trying to start the Car it will not start if you have the Remote Start hooked up right. I have had people call my shop saying that the remote start they installed would not work. Also make sure the wire is not hooked up to Ground. same issue. Hope you get it worked out.
