Has anyone ever installed an after market door lock actuator in a sliding door of a van. I was going to attempt this in a 2000 Caravan and was looking for any ideas. I assume I will need to figure out how to use the factory wires that were likely installed even though no power locks were installed. ANy ideas are welcome.

I have, I have. Usually these aren't pre-wired. What you should do is go to the dealership and get the factory contacts for the door, it is the easiest way. Then next is something like this( I saw these for like 12 bucks at some website while lookind for the link, just scroll down to van contacts. Everything else is cake.
