im installing a harada 900 on a 2004 impala. I found the two door trigger wires in the BCM with ease (blue wire and a blue/white wire). Do I need to diode isolate each wire? i've read in some places to do it and some places not to.

Go head an use diodes. My info says so. If one say too an another dont, just do it anyways to be safe.

would you put the band towards the BCM or alarm? (I would think towards the BCM in order to let the signal go through...)

Also, what size diodes should I use?

Yes put them towards the BCM. Use 1 amp can buy from radio shack 1N4001. i have heard some stores got rid of the 1N4001, just ask them what they replace it with, if they dont have it. im sure some one will coem along here and post the numbe.r for the new ones
