Should the remote start function work if you have not completely wired the alarm such as the door lock, triggers?

Depends on the system. Some require the doors to be hooked up so the system knows that all doors are closed ( mostly on manual transmission remote starter units ). What system do you have ?

The install manual says nothing about the door trigger's required for hook up for remtoe start sequence, so I'm guessing that your good to go without having to hook up these wires in order for the remote start to operate.
