I finally got the actuators wired and installed in the door panels of the mustang...however, since nothing ever goes right for me, the travel of the actuators is too long for the door locks, so when I unlock the door, the actuators pop up, then immediately back down. Is there any way at all for me to fix this without having to take everything apart again? If not, can I fix this at all? Thanks.

You must adjust the actuators inside the door. It is usually best to set them up so that the actuators are fully extended when the door mechanism is extended. Try not to set them up in their collapsed state. Try both doors until they are right and then put the car back together. This lesson is one all installers learn must learn the hard way before they become a pro.
