How sensitive for sensors?

I have my shock sensor sensitivity cranked all the way up and you still have to practically take a baseball bat to it to set off the warning or alarm. How much of a blow should it take to warn and how much to set off the alarm?

My microwave sensor only seems to have about 2 feet of range. This can't be right..

I've already contacted the company but I want to find out how a system that is working right should function.

I appreciate the help!

Did you crank the shock sensor all the way down. were is it mounted at.

It's super tight! Tried the stearing column and a bracket attached to the body.

How should a normally functioning alarm work?

I did the same and the shock sensor is working pretty good. Can't detect blows in the back of my Explorer though. The front seems pretty decent though. The microwave has to be defective.
