Both me and my roommate have viper 350HV alarms for our cars...so that is 4 remotes total.  What I have noticed since the alarms were installed was that the remotes worked fine at first, but then the button on the remote began to require more and more presses before it would deactivate the alarm.  The problem remains after replacing with a fresh battery.  My roommate has the exact same problem with his set of remotes on his car.  I'm beginning to think that these remotes were designed in very poor fashion...has anyone else had any problems with these remotes???  It's starting to get really frustrating standing in front of my car for 10 minutes pushing buttons and waiting for the alarm to deactivate.

they might be getting on the same algorithm (sp?).  have the install shop call the DEI techs and see what they recommend.

i have the clifford matrix rs3 and i have the same problem with my remote. the first one that came out was a pile of crap. it would brake after 2 months. i went through 3 of them. then the 3.5 came out and the remote was compatable. i got one and havent had a problem since. see if you can get an upgraded remote that works for your alarm.
