Hi!  Been lurking a while, now I need some help. 

I ordered an Autoloc CK4000 (Remote keyless entry w/power locks) from AutoTechAlarms.com and for whatever reason, they sent a CL4000 (power locks) and a Stellar ST8000 Alarm.  I'm guessing they were out of the CK4000 and sent this since it "should" perform the same function, with some extras.  I really did not want an alarm, but oh well...

Here's the problem.  I've got both systems installed in my wife's 2003 Kia Spectra (did not come with power locks) and they both work fine.  However, I cannot get the alarm to remotely lock/unlock the doors.  Unfortunately the schematics do not come with any explanation on how to connect these two systems and I can't figure out how to hook them up.  Here is what I know:

Instructions for CL4000 also cover the CK4000 and indicate that the blue/white and GREEN / WHITE from the remote unit be hooked to the brown and white leads (respectively) on the door lock unit.  Tried that, no go.

However, the alarm schematic has a number of other outputs and I don't understand them...they do, however, have a number of explanations on how to add to existing power lock systems using the below outputs, but still don't really know where to go and don't want to fry anything int he process.  Here is what is on the alarm schematic.

BROWN / Blue (GUN NO) w/15A fuse

GREEN / WHITE (UNLOCK COM) (same as tried above, left here for clarity)

ORANGE / Green (UNLOCK NC)

Blue/White (LOCK COM) (same as tried above, left here for clarity)

ORANGE / Blue (LOCK NC)

Other than that, all I've done is added the starter kill relay...remainder of optional outputs (lights, etc) taped off and unused.  These are the type power locks that use the regular lock lever as the switch...no separate switch is required. 

So how can I get these things to talk to each other?!?  TIA!

BROWN / Blue (GUN NO) w/15A fuse ----- To 12 volt CONSTANT

GREEN / WHITE (UNLOCK COM) (same as tried above, left here for clarity) --- Goes to one side of the actuators ( UNLOCK )

ORANGE / Green (UNLOCK NC) ---- to chassis GROUND

Blue/White (LOCK COM) (same as tried above, left here for clarity) --- Goes to the otherside of the actuators ( LOCK )

ORANGE / Blue (LOCK NC) ---- to chassis GROUND

Thanks for the input, but something is still amiss.  I tried it as outlined above, except since these leads are common to all 4 locks they were not attached directly to the actuators (BTW , the actuators are 5 wire in the front and 2 wire in the back):

-Gn/Wt went to the UNLOCK input of Locks "brain" (White lead)

-Blu/Wt went to LOCK input of Locks "brain" (Brown lead)

This was my result:

- Stopped responding to manual inputs to lock/unlock (Door lock "switch")

- Worked great from the remote, both lock and unlock, for a minute or so then stopped responding to all inputs (rmote or manual)...actually, is sometimes still responded but the signal seemed too weak to unlock the doors.

I tested the leads to see what signals were present:

-Gn/Wt and Ong/Gn would have 12V when doors were in the locked state...doors would unlock when either was grounded

-Blu/Wt and Ong/Blu would show 12V when doors were in the unlocked state...doors would lock when either was grounded

Now I'm back to where I left off save for the Brn/Blu which is tied into 12V constant..

Any new ideas?!?  BTW, what is the purpose of the Brn/Blu (GUN NO) lead?  Thanks again!

OK, I figured it out...apparently the directions that came with the unit were out of date.  A better set I found on the internet showed the right connections.  The Brn/Blu goes to common ground and the Gn/Wht and Blu/Wht go to White and Brown triggers, respectively, from the lock unit.  ALL is well, at least in that regard.

I could not get dome supervision to work.  Various sources list the Lt GREEN/ Red lead in the driver's kick as the tie in, but that did not work.  Even tried also hooking onto the pink (w spots) power lead to the dome light along with the switch trigger, and no go.  Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the light does that "soft off" thing where it dims down a few seconds after closing the door.  No big deal...
