take a look under the dash and see if you can see the module under there......it could be an add on to an alarm system....... ------------- Good Luck

its audiovox. you can find it on the website. if it shut off... try putting the key in and turning it to ignnition like youd normally drive. then hit the brake, shift, and off you go.

draash, I think he just wants to know how to use it.
You probably held down one of the buttons for a few seconds and activated the remote starter. Go do that again. After it starts, disarm the alarm and get in the car. Put the key in, turn it to "ign" or "run" and then step on the brake. Drive away.
I think that might be a remote for a Prestige alarm. I've never installed them, but have customers who have had them on a rare occasion. I'm not sure how the butttons operate.

i was thinking he would be able to get an owner's manual for the unit and that way he would know how to use the by-pass as well.... ------------- Good Luck

these are the new versions, they dont have the old one on the website anymore, but im sure a polite email will work. they have similar model numbers, and if you click on the transmitters link off the main mobile page, you have to select them by shape... which they have that boomerang one listed. https://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?type=model&catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&categoryId=ap9775&langId=-1&page=&urlString=&productid=768 ------------- MECP certified installer

like i said, email them. you could find the 1-800 on there and call support too. there are people they pay for telling their customers things such as what you are looking for. make them work.

That looks just like my old Prestige remote. Try pushing the last (bottom, black) button twice, then it should start. Like the others said... jump in, turn the key to run, hit the brake, and away you go. It has been a couple of years since I used that alarm so if the last button doesn't do it try the middle one (pushing it twice), but I think it is the last one.. ------------- Kev.
