I just installed a Remote Starter in a 2003 Bonneville, and I cannot get the DEI 555G to function. The LED flashes for a second, but remote startwill not function without key in ignition. I hav etried to ground blue wire seperate from Remote Starter per https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=25690&KW=555G, to no avail. Has anyone else seen this? Can anyone else help?

i've had a couple that were finnicky... have you just tried a 555U? should work fine.....

I was hoping to avoid that; I dislike "hiding a key." No real reason, will probably end up going that way, though.
