I was hoping somebody could give me a step by step description on how to hook up my 790xv door trigger inputs to my 1996 Explorer. Everything else is hooked up and working but I can't program the alarm the way I want it because the door triggers aren't hooked up correctly. I do have 4 diodes, will I need another? Or is there a way to do it with 4? Please don't leave anything out. I'm lost and called a local shop and they said it will cost at least 100 bucks to finish the install which is ridiculous because I already did 95% of the work. Thanks alot!!!

You need only two tools.WD-40 and duct tape.If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Can't fix it, get a hammer. Still can't fix it, get a bigger one

You can either diode isolate the four door triggers or catch the dome light wire which is (+) coming down the A-frame.

Do it right the first time

the domelight should be BLACK/ blue, and you connect the + input of the alarm to it. shouldn't need to use a diode. good luck!
