2001 Grand am alarm

I hava couple of questions:

1) Does anyone have the factory wireing information for the car??

2) I have already started to install an alarm on this car, and while inthe process of locating some wires for the dome light, it stopped working. It never comes on at all, not with the manual switch or with the doors. I was not probing the wires with anything when it happend, almost like a fuse went, but I checked all of them.

3) I can't seem to figure out how to hook up the door pin whitch to the car alarm any tips??

Notes: Remove the radio, without unplugging it, to access the ignition harness.
Starter	yellow	+	ignition harness
Notes: Remove the radio, without unplugging it, to access the ignition harness.

Notes: Lock requires a negative trigger, and unlock requires a negative trigger through a 1,500 ohm resistor. Must use relays. Must close doors to lock with a single pulse.

Door Trigger		-
Notes: The lt. GREEN/ black is located in the drivers kick and catches only the drivers door. The lt. blue is located in the harness coming from the drivers running board going under the drivers seat and it catches all other doors. Use both door trigger wires and diode isolate each. On the 2 door the lt.blue is in the passenger kick.

Thanks for the wiring information it is much better thatn muddling around tring to find the wires...

I have started to install a alarm on a 2001 pontiac Grand Am, and while inthe process of locating some wires for the alarm, the dome light stopped working It never comes on at all, not with the manual switch or with the doors. I was not probing the wires with anything when it happend, almost like a fuse went, but I checked all of them as well as the bulb... all of them are good...

any Ideas what happened???? or how to trace for a problem???
