i have a 1996 Chev k-1500. i installed the Autostart (name brand)AS-1200 (model #) after starting the "check engine" light came on... in the wiring diagram of the truck it says to hook up the IGN #2 or check engine light will come on. On the starter module it does not have a IGN#2. how can i either hook it up so my check engine light is off ( also it causes the transmission to shift erractically) or is there a relay of some sort i can put on it to have a IGN#2 wire off the remote starter module? i can send anyone the wiring diagram of the starter and/or the diagram of the truck . Thanxs

*1 The pink/white does not exist on all models.

Use a 5 pin relay and wire like this:

87 & 85 : 12 volts constant
86 : Ground out when running wire
30 : to 2nd Ignition wire on car.
