Whats up fellas? Kinda new around here, and just started doing alarms. I was wondering if there was a way to put remote start on a vehicle with a manual transmission. And if so, could anyone let me know how it is done. Its going on a 96 Ford Explorer. Thanks. Chad

There are many but one that I install is AutoCommand They have Add ons and Alarms. Not cheap but work good. AutoCommand - manual trans (20238) P/N NS91031 hope this helps. ------------- TanZ2004

Yeah most people don't believe me when I say it, but ford put manuals in the 95, and 96 4wd Explorers..weird..but i have since taken all that stuff out and layed it out on 20s with juice......

Without a doubt Ultrastart! Both user and nstaller friendly, installed about a dozen in the last year, no trouble yet.

Panther electronics has a unit for manual transmission. (PS-25 starter only or PS-combo A alarm and stsrter) panthersecurity.com
