Is there a way to make my stock alarm louder ? perhaps by replacing the horn ? will that effect nething else ?

i wouldnt replace it with a different siren or any type. the brain that controlls it is probably ment to run it specifically.  such as amperage draw and +/- triggers ect.  its not usually the best thing to do, mix and match factory and aftermarket.  you could check a similar vehicle of the same year and see how loud it sounds at.  if yours it very different sounding, id suggest a direct replacement or check the wiring for corrosion.

You could always run a relay that triggers another siren I would think. Some alarms are setup to run the car horn also. That would be pretty loud.

Stock alarm? Does it have a siren or you meant the horn?

I'm not too sure, i think it just uses the horn based on the tones it produces.
