Is it possible to install the DEI 530T with the factory keyless entry from 2005 Subaru STi?
The car do not have the factory alarm. I'm still considering to add the factory security upgrade kit at $140 or go with Compustar 2wss at ~$250 (ebay). The 2005 STi already have the immobilizer built in even without the factory alarm.

The 530T could possibly work with the factory keyless entry system but wouldn't work the way it was intended, such as roll up on arm and it would probably take a couple of tries to roll all the way down. It would be worth adding an alarm. Also I would go for an alarm that adds new remotes, factory remote range is nothing compared to the aftermarket generally.
