I have a problem with my bypass module that i have purchased from bypasskit.com a while back and it has come to my attention that if i put a regular key in the ignition(copied without transponder) it would start the car. I thought it wouldn't work, but it did . I was wondering if this is how all the bypasskits are from bypasskit.com where is disables the anti-theft transponder feature???? I was told that the bypass kits from Direct electronics will bypass for remote start and still keep the the factory anti-theft transponder system intact. Please Help!!!

only the 00-01 tegs have transponder anti-theft.

its just one less thing you have to worry about, thats all.

It depends on how the bypass kit was installed and if the ground out when running wire is activated only when remote started or if it was wired to bypass at all times. Did you do the installation ?
