i own a 1994 pontiac sunbird and i have automatic door locks that automaticly lock when car is put into gear and automaticaly unlock when car is turned off. the problem is i can not get the doors to unlock with the alarm (crimestopper 2004dc II). i got the doors to lock fine and i found two wires that have +12 going to them when unlocking only. one is black and the other is brown. both did not unlock the car when i tapped into them with the alarm. i kno my door locks are positive trigger and the wire to unlock should be BLACK/ white. i even tried tapping in to the black wire about 2 inches past the door lock itself and still didn't work. my guess is the automatic locks have a relay somewhere thats somehow screwing me up or the wire that goes to the battery to send the +12 from the alarm to the lock is having a problem but is connected in with the other wire in the harness supplied and connected to the battery. any help will be very much appreciated. thank you

ok where are you getting the unlock pulse from to unlock the door???????

use a meter and see if the unlock wire has the 12v needed to unlock the door.......add 12v to that wire and see it it will trip the locks.....dont use the unlock pulse from the alarm, use a another 12v source for the trip wire...
