Can anyone tell me where to find a diagram of how to change a pulsed output to a validity output or a timed output to run a 530t from an alarm with only a trunk pop output? I think there used to be a diagram on this site but cant find it now. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
------------- If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!

What kind of alarm do you have?

Its an Absolute FM8500 2 way LCD remote car alarm w/ remote starter. Customer brought to me to have installed, and have made everything else work, except the 530t. The only extra channel on the alarm is a trunk pop and it only gives a single pulse output. Hence the 530t only vents the windows, then rolls down the same vent amount each time you press the trunk pop buttons. Thanks for any ideas in advance.

I just recently bought the galaxy 5000 rs2w, and I am installing it into a 1997 ford thunderbird, with factory keyless entry. I found out that my car has negative switching door locks, so I hooked it up to the pink wires on the driver side of the car like the wiring diagram told me to do, the problem I am having though is the door lokcs don’t seem to stop running. They make a constant weird noise until I unplug the alarm. It worked fine when I first hooked it up, then I don’t know what happened. Now when I arm and disarm the system it doesn’t work my locks, and I tried “resetting” the memory, that didn’t help, it only does it if I hit lock or unlock on the door, not the alarm, the alarm doesn’t affect my locks at all. Exept when I plug it up, then It pops them both unlocked no problem. Any information would help, thank you. . Thanks. Chris
