Hello, sort of a few questions in one post, but answering anything would be greatly appreciated!!!

First, does anyone have the wiring diagram to install a DEI Alarm w/ Remote Start.

Two, does anyone know where the factory alarm is installed, the wiring diagram to it, and/or if the 04 models come with a Alarm Disable Wire for the DEI Alarm to interface with?

Three, Audio Daigram at the Amp for Monsoon System?

Thanks for all input. Your guys are the best.

Mark

1. What DEI system do you need the information on?

2. The OEM security disarms when remote started. The ignition wires sends a signal to the OEM security to disarm the systm.

3. NA

1. I will be installing the Viper 791xv line remote start with all the goodies. Just need the wiring diagram for the car.

2. So, basically, the stock alarm will not interefere with the aftermarket, or atleast it shouldn't, right?

thx.

this info is for a '02-'03 so double / triple check it all (but you do that anyway)!

ignition | blue | + | ignition harness

second ignition | pink | + | ignition harness

power lock | yellow | - | driver's kick panel, white 22 pin plug

power unlock | white / black | - | driver's kick panel, white 22 pin plug

parking lights+ | green / orange | + | fuse box, 15 pin plug

parking lights- | white | - | headlight switch

door trigger | yellow | - | fuse box, 8 pin plug

dome supervision | use door trigger |

trunk / hatch pin | black / orange | - | fuse box, 15 pin plug

hood pin(1 & 2) | pink | - | ETACS, 12 pin plug

__________________________________________________________

1) ETACS module is attached to the back of the fuse box on the bottom

2) hood pin is also green at the switch under the hood

3) ECM is under the center console to the right of the gas pedal. On the 2.4 L A/T it is in the 26 pin plug, the 2.4L M/T it is in the 12 pin plug, and the 2.7L it is in the 40 pin plug

1. I'll send you the wiring diagram, just need your email address

2. The Viper will not interfere with the OEM security system when remote started, but you still need the OEM remote control to arm and disarm the OEM system. If you don't want the OEM security to interfere with the Viper system, do not use the OEM remote control to arm and lock the doors. ONLY use the Viper and the OEM system will NEVER arm.
