hey everybody, im trying to take off that annoying keychaiun sensor for this van, and the wires led to this black box that says " TRS AR, INC" it seems to be tapping into a bunch of wires under the steering coloum so i think thats it. anyways my question is will anything fry if i take that box out? and will it work like normal afterwards?

Do a little research and find out which wires it is connected to, and that will tell you much of what you need to know. It sounds like it is an ignition disabler, with a keychain transponder. Do you have to pass the keychain close by a sensor, then only have 30 or so seconds to start the vehicle? And after that 30 seconds does nothing happen when you turn the key? If so then thats what it is, and the good members of this site can, and usually will, help you to remove it. I know they have always been helpful to me when I had a problem. Good Luck!

Try to find the FCC ID# at bare minimum. If it is just an alarm then all you would have to do is pull the connection or cut the connection at the point the alarm tied into a vehicle wire. Then reconnect the starter wire under the dash.
