There is something I did wrong with my install. I arm the car. 1 Chirp sound. I disarm the car 2 Chirps sound. Perfect. Now I get into the car, close the door. Everything is normal. Then I put the key in the ignition and as soon as I put the key position to START to crank the engine, when I let it go my alarm LED flashes 2 times and it arms itself automatically. I must disarm it again before starting driving or the siren will go off. It does not happen if I put the key position to ACC or RUN. Only when I crank the engine with the key all the way to the START position. Please help me. https://www.directechs.com/guides/manuals/ig/viper/N430V.pdf This is a link to my PDF instruction manual. Thanks a bunch guys ! Dominic

It sounds like something along the power side of the wiring is wired wrong. Check your power connections to make sure they are attached to the correct wire and are still connected. Then check your grounds and make sure they are grounded to something that is actually ground.
You could also disconnect the starter kill relay and see if the problem continues.

I will check my power wires again. The grounds are grounded as they are plugged into a ground wire from my harness. I do not have the optional Starter kill relay. I don't understand what can be the problem.....

Check the Yellow wire from the alarm, It sounds like it might be hooked up to an ignition wire that loses power during crank. Just test it with multimeter in the off, acc, run, and crank steps of the key. It should always have power during run and crank and not lose it in between the two. Second, double check your grounds to make sure they aren't losing ground during crank. Sounds weird but it can happen. Better yet ground directly to bare metal under dash, then there is no question. Hope it all comes together for you.
------------- If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!

Actually, the ground question was more toward is what you screwed into actually a ground. Never ground to a car's wire.

I agree. Sounds like you've got the alarm's ignition wire on the acc wire.
