I have a '94 Acura Integra and I just got the Clifford Intelliguard 7000 alarm system.

The alarm has a  +12V  wire lead that is used for the courtesy lights when you diarm the alarm.  It shows +12V for about 30 seconds after you disarm.

My question is: which wire should I connect this alarm wire to in my car.  I've tried connecting it to the wire I use as the door trigger, but no light comes on.  The wire color code for the door trigger is Light GREEN/ Red.

Is there any other wire I can connect to or another way I can get the courtesy light feature to work?

thanks

I just hooked up the dome light feature on my car last week I have an UNGO alarm.  I had to hook up a relay to make it work.  This is how my setup went.

PIN 30 = wire from pinswitch and (-) door trigger input

PIN 87 = Ground

PIN 86 = Fused 12v

PIN 85 = (-) dome light output from alarm

NOTE: My car has negative door switch polarity, if your car has positive polarity hook it up this way:

PIN 30 = pinswitch wire and(+) door trigger input]

PIN 85 = (+) dome light output from alarm

PIN 86 & 87 = both fused 12v

Hope this helps, if you have any other questions just ask.
