Hi

Can anyone tell me the sequence to program the power locks to passively lock with the alarm? Right now just the alarm arms passively. The locks work fine with ign on/off and with active arming.

Thanks

Mike

Sorry they only have the autopage 750. Check this manual to see if it may help if not then hopefully someone else might have the trick for you.

Hi Mike:  You might try this sequence that I'm pasting from my RF-410 manual.  Perhaps it will be similar to your model.

ALARM FEATURE “II” PRORAMMING:

1   Turn the Ignition 'switch ‘ON/OFF’ 3 TIMES and stay in OFF position.

2   Push the Valet switch 4 times and hold in on the 4th push, when a long chirp is heard, then release the valet switch. You are now in the Alarm feature ‘II’ programming mode.

Press the transmitter button corresponding to the feature you want to program.

Sorry, guess the paste from my microsoft word manual just came across as code.  Lets see if I can summarize it in writing for you since the first post is just a bunch of code.  Sorry.

This is directly from my RF-410 manual and it may be similar or may not work but worth a try.

Alarm Feature II programming:

1.  Turn the ignition switch on/off 3 times and stay in off position

2.  push the valet switch 4 times and hold in the 4th push, when a long chirp is heard then release the valet switch.  You are now in the alarm feature II programming mode.

3.  Press the transmitter button corresponding to the feature you want to program.

Press the Unlock Button, 1 chirp and 1 led pulse will be the factory default of active arming, 2 chirps and 2 LED pulses will be Passive arming without passive door locking, 3 chirps with 3 LED pulses will provide the feature you seek of Passive Arming with Passive door locking.

If this happens to not be clear, drop a message and I will try to better explain.

Do you have any insights into your wiring diagram that came with your model?  Mine is a bit vague and I'm trying to better understand some of the wire and function descriptions.

Good luck with programming and hope it works for you!

I already know the rf-405a programs differently than the 410....but I appreciate the reply.

Anyone else have a RF405a manual to share?

You might try sending Autopage an e-mail and request the install manual in Microsoft Word format.  I did so for my model and they responded the next day with it attached.  It did not answer my questions but perhaps this might be an option.  Good luck.
