I have installed many of these FAI-8100's but for some reason on my own vehicle 2000 jeep cherokee something is wrong. I can remote start it just fine, but when I enter the vehicle and insert the key, the alarm goes off. any reason why?

What alarm ? The OEM or the FAI-8100

the fai-8100. it does have an oem system. I've double checked everything. Now I did not connect the tach sensor cable yet. But this should not cause that. Basically the system is not disarming when i insert the key into the ignition.
