I got a used viper 350hv. I hooked it up and the alarm started blaring. I don't have the original remote to even try and shut it off. I can't program the new remote while the siren is active. I think  the alarm was going off when the battery got disconnected and the rapid resume logic is causing it to stay on. Is there a way to reset the rapid resume logic back to off? Could it be anything else? Any help would be great. Thanks.

most alarms will go into trigger mode when you apply power to them.....i dont know what the steps are for DEI but, you should be able to use the valet button and override the system...

make sure yellow wire on primary harness is plug to a ignition. and power up all the necessary wire for the alarm and plug in the valet button. then w/ a key, turn to ign and press the valet button once and wait for 1-2 sec and the siren should cut off.
