There are so many posts about the locks in the 2001-2003 dodge durango locks that i want to be sure i am doing it right. First, I'm assuming that the wiring hasn't changed from the 01-02 to 03 (I think that was verified a few times on the boards). Next, I found a post with this diagram:
and it shows that lock/unlock and arm/disarm can be done on the same wire. However, in all of the wiring guides i've seen, it's two seperate wires. Is the picture correct or should i be using the two different wires? Also, it says I need to use a 1565ohm and 644ohm resistor for the arm/disarm. Will a 1.5k and 680ohm work or do these need to be exact? Thanks much for the help...I want to make sure I do it right!

Oh, and if I can use the one wire for both... It says that all I need are the 1565ohm and 644ohm to both lock/arm and unlock/disarm respectivly...is this correct?
Thanks!
Chris
Arm requires a negative trigger thru a 644 ohm resistor. Disarm requires a negative trigger thru a 1565 ohm resistor. MUST use relays. The LIGHT GREEN/ ORANGE wire will also lock the doors, and it will unlock with a double pulse. Use the 330 and the 820 on the same wire to lock and unlock the doors.

So what you're saying is the diagram is wrong and it won't unlock/lock the doors and arm/disarm the alarm at the same time? Also, can I use say a 680ohm resisitor instead of 644ohms? (I don't have any 644ohm resistors)
Thanks!
Chris
