I just installed a matrix RSX 3.5 on my ride and would like to free up some additional channels for various auxillary functions.  I have read what little info there is on dei's 450t channel expander and it appears it requires an instant pulse to function properly.  the 3.5's aux output isnt instant as it requires you hold the button for 1.5 seconds... What options do I have to obtain some extra aux channels??

Thanks.

Don't use channel two/trunk pop output, use the channel 3 programable output set to validity.

Is using channel 3 my only option here? Having to push 2 buttons @ once 6 times to get to the sixth aux function sounds like a nightmare... I can see myself hitting the wrong button or stopping for 2 long and finding my sunroof open when I wanted to have my toneau cover open.... Any other options out there?  I am very pleased with the 3.5's other functions but somewhat wish I had gone with another model that has more functionality via the remote.

You can program channel three to a single button if you want.
