I noticed that sometimes, when i lock my car, the lcd display will show Shock sensor 1, several seconds (3-5) after i lock it. What does this mean.

try to wait a couple of seconds after you shut your door, then arm it. its probably still detects the shock sensor from you shuting the door and triggers sensor 1.

what happens is when you arm the alarm, the alarm checks all of the sensors, doors etc.  It then bypasses any zones that are being triggered so that the alarm will arm.  If you left the door open it would do the same thing only it would show the door icon instead of sensor 1.  There is nothing wrong with the alarm it is simply showing you that the shock sensor was going off when you armed the car, so the shock sensor was bypassed, just hit lock again and it will turn the shock sensor back on.

I have the same thing happen to me with my personal remote. its a crimestoper. after disarming then rearm it shows my shock sensor warning. then i just press arm again and it stops. i think its normal for most 2way pagers.
