I am installing RKE in a Dodge intrepid.. I have one question about the relays. In some documentation 30 is used for the output and 87 is used for the Ground or the +12. Then in some of the drawings on this site I have seen 30 as the Ground or +12 and 87 is used for the output.

Since 30 is the common connection of the switch and 87 is the closed connection it doesn't seem to me that it would matter once the switch is actuated.. I just want to make sure..

Thanks..

OK..
1.) one relay is for a trunk release - trigger from RKE and trunk release is + trigger.

2.) door unlocks 2 relays, - trigger from RKE to + trigger 1 wire unlock/lock (with resistors)

3.) parking lights + trigger from RKE to - trigger for lights.

When I drew this up, I used 30 for all outputs and 87 for Ground (#3) and +12 (#1 and #2)
