Subject: Alarm keeps giving warning chirps

A few days ago my two way pager alar/starter started having problems. It seems that in the morning for some reason the alarm will start to chirp for no reason on its own every 5-10 minutes. I watched the car and nothing falling on it from trees, no one touching it, no cars passing by, no winds no nothing it just keeps giving the warning chirps on its own. I turned down the sensor and it still does it. Like I said for some reason it does it more in the morning and during the day when it gets real hot I don't even hear it chirp once unless a car passes by with a lot of bass. What can this be? sensor going bad? Bad wiring? please help. Thanks all.

most likely a bad door pin....... try lubing up all the door pins. What kind of vehicle is it?

What type of vehicle is it?  If it's a ford, you may need diodes.  If you have a hood pin switch, make sure it's adjusted right.

Do it right the first time

Its a 95 Camry and the alarm is an after market 2way LCD pager alarm/starter which was installed about 6 months ago. Its just crazy because its afternoon now and the alarm hasn't chirped for hours. The chirping only happens in the morning and every morning after about an hour or two of chirping every ten minutes, it just stops.

check the battery of the car....if it keeps its charge.

When the battery is giving 12volts or more, the alarm acts funny

I also have a 95 camry and when I park it in the carpark next to work the chirps go off every now and then.I fitted the alarm myself and I know it is working properly, I cant work it out either.

Ps. I used a Vision cl1500 alarm.

Do you happen to have infraRED / radar or motion sensors on it?  They can and will be very heat sensitive, and create problems during rapid temperature changes.  Just a possiblity...

If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!
