Does putting different resistors for the parking lights make a difference?? One person tells me to put a 1300 ohm resistor and another tells to put a 915 ohm resistor for the parking light output for a 2004 jeep grand cherokee

JEEP, GRAND CHEROKEE, 2004, Parking Lights-

Parking lights require a negative trigger thru a 1300 ohm resistor. There is a rest resistance on the wire, so MUST use a relay to isolate away from the switch.

-------------
If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!

Either one should work.. On the grand cherokee I always use a 1k resistor with no problems. I have never used a relay on a cherokee for the parking lights.
