Can someone please tell me how power door locks for keyless entry should be wired on a 2000 Ford Windstar? Here's what I think is correct:

Unlock = light GREEN/ YELLOW
lock = light blue/orange

Type B negative system. Does this mean I connect ground across terminals terminals 87 on both relays and +12 volts to terminal 85 on one relay and 86 on the other? This way the relay will toggle ground upon activation?

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

  • LOCK------------lt blue/orange--------20 pin plug at FEM module
  • UNLOCK--------lt GREEN/ YELLOW-------20 pin plug at FEM module
  • The FEM module is located under the drivers side of the dash on the firewall.

The keyless entry should be a (-) output trigger system already so all you have to do is to attach the keyless entry wires directly to the target wires above .
